Editing and Public Relations Teams

Meghan Pile is a fulltime student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a journalism major with an emphasis in public relations and is also earning a minor in speech. She is a member of the UNO women's soccer team and will be graduating in May 2006.

Elizabeth is a senior majoring in Public Relations/Advertising in UNO's School of Communication. She has been taking journalism classes for two years.

Jessica Rial is a senior public relations and advertising major in the School of Communication. She has written for the Gateway and Millard Avenues. She is currently interning with Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, and has interned with the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Upon graduating in May 2005, Jessica hopes pursue a masters in her field.

Lindsey Johnson is a senior majoring in public relations. After graduation, she hopes to accept a job offer in sales and event planning. She has a strong interest in writing and has a background in broadcast and print reporting.

Laura Friesell is a senior at UNO majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in PR and Advertising. Her previous advertising experiences include interning with the Omaha Royals Baseball Club and taking part in an advanced advertising class in which she was an AMA Pinnacle Award winner. Currently she is part of the NSAC (National Student Advertising Competition) team. She is a Pisces.

Angi Tyler is majoring in Journalism with a emphasis on Public Relations. After college she will be working on her master's degree. She hopes to get a writing job with Essence Magazine as a feature or column writer in the future. She has written for the Gateway student newspaper as a feature and column writer,and has organized various events for the UNO Section of the National Council of Negro Women.
