Course Rotation
The Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication program operates on a course rotation of three years. Technical communication classes are rarely offered during the summer semester. As classes begin to fill in this new program, this course rotation could be modified on a shorter rotation. All courses are offered no earlier than 5 p.m. to meet the needs of working professionals. All courses are dual-level courses open to both undergraduate and graduate students. We recommended that graduate students take courses in the order they are numbered to insure the integrity of the certificate program design. Prerequisites are in place for undergraduate students. However, taking 4810/8816 or 4830/8836 first is not problematic. Students should plan as far in advance as possible.
