Thank you for visiting my personal website. This site was designed with my professional life in mind and is a reflection of just some of the things I have learned throughout my schooling. Please feel free to visit the links on the right and contact me with any questions you may have.
Site Design
The idea(s) for this site are encapsulated in two metaphors: first, that I have a sense of humor, which is represented by the walnuts. I'm sure you are familiar with the term, "In a Nutshell?" Well, this site is "me" in a nutshell, at least the professional "me". As you can see I've taken the old saying quite literally. The second is the tree, roots, and leaves. These represent the growth I have undergone as a technical writer, editor, and designer. While I am still relatively new to the design portion, having sprung my 'design' wings in the past four years or so, the roots of interest have taken hold and are growing into what I hope to become, a full fledged and proven technical communicator. While I possess many talents and have honed them thus far with the tools I have at my disposal, there is always room for growth and learning. I would even go as far to say that this site is an example of my professional experience, since most of these documents were created in a classroom environment not much different from a professional business setting.
