His recent books include Cyberhenge: Modern Pagans on the Internet (Routledge 2005) and Cults and New Religions: A Brief History, with David G. Bromley (Blackwell 2007). Sacred Terror: Religion and Horror on the Silver Screen is slated for release in 2008, and he is currently working on two other books, Contested Visions: Propaganda, Plausibility, and the Management of New Religious Belief and Sacred Space: Science Fiction Cinema and the Quest for Transcendence. When not teaching or writing, he is actively defending Earth against the evil Covenant. |
