Hancock is a 2004 recipient of the Overseas Research Students (ORS) award from Universities UK and a University Postgraduate Scholarship from the University of Glasgow, and he is currently working on a PhD under the supervision of Professor David Jasper. His doctoral work traverses the areas of postmodern theology and philosophy, literature, film and culture, and he is especially interested in exploring the ways in which sacramental and liturgical practice informs interpretation. To offset such bookishness, he attempts to bring balance to his life by writing creatively, and by singing and playing music with his wife, Gloria. |
