Laura Levitt



Laura Levitt is an assistant professor of Religion at Temple university where she also teaches in the Women's Studies Program.

She is the author of Jews and Feminism: The Ambivalent Search for Home (Routledge, 1997) and co-editor, with Miriam Peskowitz, of Judaism Since Gender (Routledge, 1997). Her new work is on American Jews and family photography She has been an active participant in the Religion, Film and Visual Culture section of the American Academy of Religion.
