Chris has a BA in Theology, and an MA in 'Death and Immortality. His PhD is on an application of the Christian concept of redemption through film. All degrees were conferred from the University of Wales. Chris's present research is on the relationship between the roles of the director, text and audience in films that explore and reflect religious beliefs, values and core themes. Christopher recently sat on the Ecumenical Jury at the 53rd Locarno International Film Festival (2-12 August 2000).
