These comments are intended to describe for the average viewer the technical side of making The Afghan Folio . In this discussion I have tried to explain things simply. Basic camera and film terms are defined before they are used, but I have tried to include sufficient detail to answer the curiosity of those who know a great deal about the subject. Each section begins with simple explanations but by the end of the section I am discussing my specific technical interests and problems. Beginners can move on to the beginning of the next section when the discussion becomes too technical, and professionals and advanced amateurs can skim the opening paragraphs.
