Badakshan and the Panjsheer Valley

In November of the year 2000 I went to Badakshan and the Panjsheer Valley to take photographs of human rights issues for UNOCHA. We shall begin in Faizabad, Badakshan, the last remaining city at that time under the control of forces of the Northern Alliance commanded by Ahmad Shah Masood.
